The former Chesterfield bank building at 10801 S. Western Ave., has been purchased, according to 19th Ward Ald. Matt O’Shea. He announced the sale at a Morgan Park town-hall meeting at the Chicago Police Department 22nd District station on June 11. O’Shea also said a developer is interested in converting the former Borders bookstore, 2210 W. 95th St., into a medical building, and an Advanced Auto Parts store is planning to open on the 1800 block of West 95th Street.
