Jason Horton
Jason has decades of experience with the purchase, sale, and (re)development and management of real estate and extensive expertise in acquisition, assembly, entitlement, environmental remediation issues and regulatory constraints in the development process. He has orchestrated teams of development professionals including, architects, engineers, surveyors, general contractors, accountants, bankers, title companies, brokers, and transaction and litigation attorneys in several prominent developments, including the Utica Park Place Power Center, Oakland Towne Square, The Palace of Auburn Hills, and the renovation of the Pine Knob Music Theatre. Jason has acted as consultant to numerous major national banking and international financial institutions, the Office of the Michigan Attorney General and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources – Environment. He has been frequently appointed by courts to act as the receiver for major landmark developments throughout the country and as a mediator and arbitrator in complex real estate disputes.
